We support charity, companion & fun dog shows and events with all our dogs and open and championship shows with Tala and Anja as our hobby and to raise awareness of our rare breed. We are proactive in raising the breeds profile by attending events such as Discover Dogs and social gatherings. We have participated in Kennel Club Training Classes, Ringcraft, Obedience & Agility Training to ensure we have active, happy and healthy companions.
Anja - International Champion
Irish Champion & Dutch Champion
Ceriinan Violette Via Brintala (Imp Fin)
Irish Champion & Dutch Champion
Ceriinan Violette Via Brintala (Imp Fin)
Anja, her name means "Gracious" was bred by Anja Nikkonen of the world famous kennel Ceriinan in Finland and we have been graced with this special black and tan girl, who was our pick of litter. We feel privileged to be allowed to import her from Finland as this litter brought together the very best of the Ceriinan bloodlines - sired by Viljo (Duvinal Velior Vitus) and the dam Milli (Ceriinan Umaya). Born on the 13th February 2016 Anja has a zest for life's adventures and is our shadow.
Since we collected Anja (aka The Duchess) at four months old she has travelled by train, plane, car and motorhome with nothing affecting her outgoing, happy personality. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm will be directed into other disciplines and activities as she matures but for the time being we will continue to promote the breed by attending events and showing as she adores all the attention. Anja is an International, Dutch and Irish Champion having gained 7 x Green Stars, 4 x CACIB, 3 x Reserve CACIB, 5 x CAC, 2 x Reserve CAC, 5 x Best Of Breed, 5 x Reserve Best of Breed, 3 x Reserve Best Bitch, graded Excellent at all International Shows under FCI judges and also multiple placings at UK Shows, Crufts qualified since 2017. Top titled female German Pinscher in the UK of all the recent imports! With thanks to Adrian Paul Warren Photography & Hunter UK |
Tala - Top Puppy 2015
Brintala's Athena at Fourfitz
Tala was bred by Brintala German Pinschers in Cornwall and we were fortunate enough to welcome her into our lives at two months old. She is very affectionate, confident, well socialised and has been a joy to live with, train and show. Born on 17th July 2014 her sire is Chico (imported from Kennel Ceriinan in Finland) and her dam is Sassy (imported from Legacy German Pinschers in America). Tala means "wolf" in native american; an appropriate name as her mother is a US import. Tala's (aka The Princess) main achievements include gaining the title of "Top Puppy 2015" Working Group, Rare Breeds Register having won Best Puppy in Breed at Championship Shows before the age of 12 months old (the only German Pinscher puppy to achieve this in many years!) she has also represented the breed at multiple events and Discover Dogs since she was a puppy. She was awarded "Excellent" in Bitch Youth at the International Dog Show - Luxembourg 2015. She is a great ambassador for our breed thriving on the affection she receives at all types of events. We were thrilled that Tala was selected to represent the month of June in the "Red Hot Dog" Calendar 2017. Photographed by top London photographer and founder of the International art project Red Hot - Thomas Knights. The calendar raised money for anti-bullying charities, The Diana Award and for The Dogs Trust. Tala, now retired from show competition loves her life of forest, woodland and beach walks. She amuses us daily with her antics and although the smallest in stature has the biggest personality of all our dogs! With thanks to Adrian Paul Warren Photography and Hunter UK |
Omar - Our Gambian Prince
Beach Dog Rescued from West Africa Omar, meaning long-lived was discovered by us on Kotu Beach in The Gambia, West Africa on September 5th 2009. That same day our family said a very sad goodbye to "Alfie" our German Shepherd back in the UK. Following a sleepless night we returned to the beach and after a two hour frantic search, Omar was rescued! He was a very sick 3 month old puppy and the vet gave him a 50% chance of survival, he had something to live for though!
It was decided in early 2010 that we would bring Omar back to the UK, he had to complete six months in quarantine at Heathrow. Despite all that he has had to overcome he has the most amazing nature, so gentle with children, so patient with the two German Pinscher girls ... he is simply our very precious and placid Gambian Prince (aka Chumbus).
